The globally recognised and iconic Bondi Baths have occupied prime position on one of Sydney’s most famous beaches for almost a century. Home to the Bondi Icebergs since 1929 and located at the southern end of the equally famous Bondi Beach, the popular lap pool boasts invigorating salt water, pumped directly from the Pacific Ocean. Originating from the Aboriginal word for ‘sound of water breaking over rocks’, boondi, the famous beach vista and pool form the backdrop for numerous internationally acclaimed TV programs such as Bondi Rescue and Bondi Vet.

The beauty and drama of its architecture has made it as universally recognised as the city’s iconic medallion taxi cabs that project a chaotic mass of bright yellow, synonymous with one of the world’s most exciting cities.
